This project entailed 4-hour fire rated bulk diesel tanks as a secondary fuel supply for the main steam and hot water boiler systems.
The systems were installed after the plant rooms had been constructed and fitted out, installation of the equipment had to be installed using specialised rigging equipment due to spatial constraints.

390km South West of Perth, WPG successfully won the tender for supply and commissioning of a 100kVA acoustic weather proof generator. Integration with the main switch board was coordinated with the client’s electrical contractor to perform automatic start in the event of a mains power outage.
As an existing operational hospital, minable down time was critical for the changeover to the new system.

A complete turnkey solution from initial client connection through to final commissioning. WPG facilitated a 900kVA standby generator, 1600amp automatic transfer switch, 5000 Litre bulk fuel tank, fuel transfer system and 45 meters of insulated exhaust. Decommissioning and removal of the obsolete 100kVA was included in the scope of works.
Logistics to site, installation of both mechanical and electrical equipment was performed. The site being operational, the works were staged to prevent minimal down time once the new system was installed.

New facilities onsite were constructed to upgrade the Instrument Landing System to approach category III. Vital for the upgrade to a Cat. III rating, a reliable source of power was necessary. Located at multiple locations, each 550kVA generator is on standby to automatically power up the runway lighting system controls. Supplying a reliable source of prime power to our clients’ bore systems and transfer stations was key to this projects success.
